PHT offers two very easy ways to identify which gearboxes will be compatible with your application: motor manufacturer and power capacity.

When determining which gearbox is right for your motor and your application, many factors must be considered. For example, reduction ratio, torque, speed and backlash. Therefore, the tables are for reference only. Learn more about planetary gearboxes in our Knowledge Center.

  • Gearbox Selection by Power Capacity

    1. The starting ratio of DM/DH 042 is 1:4.
    2. The starting ratio of DN series is 1:4. Reduction ratio of 1:9 can be supplied in one stage for DN series only.
    3. Two stage reduction ratio 1:100 cannot be applied to high speed converse and reverse environments unless gearbox has three stages.
    4. Size-upgraded gearboxes ar recommended to be used when applications require a larger mass moment of inertia.
    5. Three stage gearboxes ar enot within the scope of these charts. If three stage gearboxes are required, please contact us for assistance.
